Aromatherapy massage combines the healing benefits of massage with the therapeutic properties of carefully selected essential oils.
Every living thing has a life force, energy or soul. This amazing force is what makes us individual and unique. Plants have the same unique life force and the essential oils seek to harness this.
One of the most satisfying aspects of using essential oils with massage is that they enter and leave the body with great efficiency and leave no toxins behind.
From time to time we can all lose the balance in our lives and this can show in our physical, emotional and mental health. Aromatherapy massage aims to balance the mind and body and restore your natural equilibrium.
The use of plants for their healing and medicinal properties can be tracked back as far as the 4th century BC. The study of plants and innovations in technology mean we are now able to effectively extract the most beneficial area of a plant, be it flower, bark, fruit or root.
The extraction process of essential oils aims to preserve the vast natural chemical component of each plant. The chemical components could be compared to our own hormone system. The power these natural chemical components have to shape feelings, mood and physical health is phenomenal so the more we can preserve the natural essence of the plant the better the benefit to the person using it. For this reason we aim to select the most naturally produced essential oils and most ethical producers.
